Went to watch Orphan at the cinema today. Was rather crap. I'd say it was a waste of my money, but I get in for free. It's always good when you know someone who works in Cineworld.

just re-watched Snatch for the 18th time. great movie, but since we have people here from the UK i gotta ask....is it an accurate portrayal that brad pitt does as the Gypsy fighter, mickey? do they really talk like that? i still have trouble deciphering his lines sometimes

Taken: Awesome movie :D great action scenes, and intriguing storyline
Schindler's List: Had to watch this for English. I actually really liked the movie, though quite sad.
Bad Boy's 2: Was okay - original was better though had great action scenes
    Up: Just plain wierd.
In Bruges: Another strange one, but I enjoyed it :)

A friend of mine went to see this and said it was one of the best films he had ever seen and that it was really well done, but different people have different opinions. ;)

    -----------------

Anyway, watched another couple of films over the past few days. :p

Disturbia - One of my favourite films to date. I really enjoyed this as it's not your typical horror film. Sarah Roemer does look extremely hot in this in various scenes. Lots of moments in the film which make you jump. Overall I really enjoyed this and would recommend it to anyone who likes horror or frightening films!
I have watched this twice now, once on my own and once with friends in the space of 24 hours. It makes a bit more sense watching it twice as you start to realise some things that otherwise wouldn't occur. I will admit, I don't recommend watching it at 3am in the morning. That seriously gave me the creeps. :D

Good Luck Chuck - Reaper said this film was good and that it had Jessica Alba in it. So I went and watched it and it was actually not too bad. The story wasn't great but the more sexy scenes etc.. were interesting to say the least and some parts actually made me laugh. A good watch if you like chick flicks or mild comedy!

    Urmm Lets see:

Naked Gun 33 1/3: Im going to have to say the funny movie in the known universe, its not really jokes but stupid comedy.

Quantom of solace: Good the first chase scene was great and was half excepting the alfas to break down, They got trashed so no harm done.

Fast and furious 4: Good, nice storyline relating to the first movie.

Tokyo Drift: For the 46th time, getting boring

    Watched another two films today.

Hitman : Had seen adverts a while ago for it and it looked really good. Watched it and it was really good. Some fantastic action scenes and the plot was slightly different to what I have seen before. Would recommend it to any action fans out there!

Captivity - Had no idea what this was going to be like, all I knew was that it starred Elisha Cuthbert and was some sort of Serial Killer thing. After watching, I felt it was a really good film with a very interesting storyline. Lots of scary moments and edge of your seat stuff in there as well. I will admit though, the ending was completely different to how I imagined and it was cut off a bit short with no real conclusion. However, it was a good watch and would appeal to those who enjoy thriller/horror films! ;)

James Bond : Quantum of Solace - I have to say, it was a slight dissapointment as I thought there would be a bit more action in it and a better storyline. No where near as good as Casino Royale but wasn't an awful film, just could have been done better. Although, others may like it. ;)

Max Payne - I remember my friend going to see this at the cinema last year and I was gutted that I never went to see it. Watched it a couple of nights ago and it was very enjoyable with some epic slow-motion action scenes and an interesting plot. Definitly a film not to miss! :D

Naked Gun : From the Files of Police Squad! - Very similar to "Airplane" as they were both made by the same company, Naked Gun is a very funny and enjoyable film. Only, you need to constantly keep your eyes out for references in the background which may otherwise be hidden. Some really funny scenes in the film though and Priscilla Presley is extremely hot so it's hard to take your eyes off her. A really well done film and a good one for watching late at night.

Forgot that I watched a film earlier this month I haven't listed. :p

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back : Fantastic film. Incredibly funny and enjoyable albeit with lots of swearing and violence, so not for the younger viewers. ;)

    ------------

Equilibrium : Had never really read up much about this but watched it the other night with Tom (Danger Sponge) and really enjoyed it. Some of the moves John Preston makes in the film are simply astonishing. The plot was really good and it's quite similar to the Matrix films. Definitly one to watch and not to miss! ;)

Watched another couple of films recently. :)

    Eagle Eye
    - Fantastic film! Many, many action scenes and "edge of your seat moments" during the film. Very intense and I would highly recommend watching it.
Definitly one of the best films I have watched! :)

    Night at the Museum
    - Had heard of this a while ago and watched it last night. Much better than I thought it would be, a very good storyline and some hilarious scenes. Really want to see the second one as the concept of stuffed animals in a museum coming to life at night is fantastic! Ben Stiller at his best. :D

The Edge - Tom (The Sponge) highly recommended this film to me and said I should watch it as I would enjoy it. Well, what can I say? After watching it, it's one of these films that make you, quoting Tom, "feel good". It was very well made, with some breathtaking cinematography of the Canadian mountains, fantastic acting and a brilliant plot. Even though, it was made in 1997, who says older films aren't very good? Not me! ;)
