more in-engine concept art: Cottage Landscape
Looking very moody and atmospheric there. Not sure it's s place I'd want to visit to be honest. hno:
first-person view of getting caught
That's almost a horrorgame xD But it looks very well made sofar!
Is that VR/TrackIR support or just the way the camera works?
That looks just amazing
Like a movie but in real time
Any plans on a Demo ?
Yeah that looks really good with how frantically your character is looking about. If that's how you've made it be then nice work. Imagining this thing in VR too. Dayyummn!
Thanks! Yeah it's kind of veering into horror/thriller territory, although more "cute" situations are also planned.
That's just mouse-look. The camera rig is physics-based and mimics how a human body would behave inside the car. There's also automatic head-turning during oversteer situations. We* are thinking about possible VR support - should the technology manage to survive until the game's release. I have still not checked out VR myself but some players suggested it could add lots of additional immersion and in-car first-person view would minimize VR sickness.
*The good news is that an experienced programmer has recently joined my one man band. That will definitely accelerate the progress rate. Our current plan is to release a tech demo and we still have to decide which gameplay elements to include.
Some more first-person view... this time, offroad
...and two more encounters :twisted::
That looks crazy and like something out of of a messed up dream. The visuals really work for the whole thing and are quite stunning and the landscape seems to be well thought out. Always cool to see the new stuff you have to show in regards to this project.
As a video it looks siiick. I'm just worried (hopefully unfounded) that as a video game the camera movement might make me sick.
Picked up by none other than The Guardian today!!

Great article, great story.
Best wishes to all of you! Happy 2017 :nods:
Same to you Soul, got a feeling this one could be a BIG one for you.
Read that by the Guardian, damn this game is going to be a great experience
Thank you! If all goes well, it should be the year where you finally get to play this
A short n' comfy drive through the woods:
Looks great. I do have the feeling the car could slide a bit more, considering it's going through a forest on a dirt path.
You have definitely nailed the atmosphere, I watched the clip on mobile and it looked so convincing it gave me the heebie jeebies
