So what, like a McDonalds cheeseburger then (different meat).

If you're ever in Melbourne BluFish Cafe makes a steak burger to die for.

Yeh, 'tis. Doesn't seem like it'll be a "normal storm". Maybe normal by Aussie standards, but we usually aren't recommended to gather 4 days worth of water, a week worth of canned food, and a warehouse of batteries for flashlights and crap :p

They've said the same for where I live in Northern Ontario. I didn't listen, because I think they're full of it. We're too far north of Toronto to be fully affected. That being said, it's been nothing but ice rain for hours..

Yeh, I think they're full of it too. That said, though, it's the first time in my memory that we've been recommended to do so.

It's apparently not a devastating storm in my area, just an inconvenience according to local news. If I lose power tonight/tomorrow I'm betting on it being up by Wednesday.

So, how you guys holding up? My lights have been flickering a bit, but that's pretty much it. I heard pretty much everywhere 2 blocks away is submerged in 5 feet of water (I live near the bay).

Actually, how many people do we have that are up here in the northeast? There's me, Leadfoot, Waft... uh... :hmmm:
