Shamelessly stealing this from Jalopnik, but I think 'tis a good way to wake y'all up and get you engaged.

The rules are simple. They don't exist. Just post pics of FIVE motor vehicles and write a sentence or two about each motor vehicle. It can be five Skylines in different colors or five black Model T's. No one cares.

    I'll post mine later.

    - Dat V12
    - I love the looks tbh, though I know not everyone does.

    2. Optional Chauffeured Car:
    - I like a good drink, and would be too wealthy to bother with Uber
    - I prefer this to the current Phantom/Ghost
    - Not this exact spec, but still:

    3. Weekend Car: Aston Martin DBS with Manual Gearbox
    - The sound
    - The looks
    - Drive from the UK down to the Riviera, who'd want anything else?

I think i'd build a house around this, it'd be in an air conditioned glass box. It's stunning. Unsure if i'd go for the gold wheels or not.

This is so hard. I dunno. I think I'd be happy with the following stable of cars:

    1. Singer 911
      • the night canyon warrior
      • rear light kill switch just like McQueen
      • four liters of naturally aspirated fun in an old-style 911 body
      • spec similar to pic above
      • [IMG]

    1. BMW Z4 M Coupe
      • the occasional track car / canyon carver
      • CSL carbon airbox and CSL wheels
      • it looks kinda weird and that is the reason
      • [IMG]

    1. Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Coupe
      • the famous gullwing doors
      • the doors of a billionaire
      • the sound of the V8
      • for those expensive Friday restaurant nights with my non-existent gf :p
      • same spec as pic below
      • [IMG]
    2. Aston Martin DBS Volante 6-speed manual
      • the most beautiful modern Aston
      • for the summer cruising alongside the coast
      • [IMG]

    1. Audi RS 6 Avant
      • pic says it all - DD/ winter beater
      • imagine it in red and with a thule ski box
      • [IMG]

I approve, too. The two racecars are beautiful and the FF and DBS will always be top choices.

I mean, i'd be happy with your garage Tom if it were given to me but that BMW? Really? And I absolutely love the RS6 but it's too safe a choice in this fantasy world, in that i'd own it without giving too much thought into it haha

I've changed my Porsche 917 to the Eagle Speedster. I wanted a convertible car in my 5, but I wanted my DBS to be the Coupé.

Yes, it's indeed really hard to narrow down to 5 cars. 2 would be easier. But i've tried to cover lunacy, desire and also practicality.

    So, here are my choices:

    1. Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (C6)
    - It's my favorite car of all times and you guys knew it would be in my list.
    - Fills the big V8 aspirated engine desire. 'MURICA!

    2. Alfa Romeo Giulia QV
    - Practicality kicked in. It's a big sedan, rear seats, four doors, big boot and also, comfort with performance.
    - Beautiful to look at.

    3. Honda NSX Type-S Zero
    - As a true JDM lover, a true JDM legend couldn't be out of the list.
    - Well, it's a NSX, suspension and chassis developed and tweaked by Ayrton Senna... so, yes, very special to me.

    4. Ferrari F355 Berlinetta
    - Passionate.
    - It's a Ferrari
    - It's beautiful
    - Manual gearbox, pls.

    5. Ford King Ranch F250 Super Duty
    - Again practicality. It's 4x4, has enough torque to tow around pretty much anything.
    - Big trucks are fun.
    - Looks like a giant toy.
    - I can go with it in my farm, take care of my pet cows.

I very much approve of #3 and #4 personally. Good taste. :btup

Why not the C7 Vette btw? I'd pick that one over any other generation.

I was merely proving that we did not steal this from Jalopnik. Reading old threads and opinions is interesting, too.
I can't think of 5 cars I dream of owning. Driving, sure, but that does get old fairly fast.
    Be nice.

In the old thread from 2010 that Ryan posted 21 unique members replied in 24 hours.

As of now, after almost two days, we're at 15 replies (incl. this one) from five people.

What model Panamera would you have? Would you have the upcoming shooting brake variant or stick with the sedan due to already having the RS6? :hmmm: Interesting list though, thanks for sharing :)

A 2017 Turbo (not shooting brake) is heaven for a gadget-freak like me. Even if it was the size of a Fiat 500 :)
