1 word Alpha. And its "Reeeech"
mmmhmm. i just don't see the need for 4 expensive cars.
Might be because he needs the RR to meet clients and business associates (As he said his father's occupation, and that might require having a car than projects an image of success), the Toyota for the day out at the beach, the XF for mum and the BMW for him!
The BMW is our very own privately owned car. The others are company cars.
Once we collect the 2 new cars,
The Toyota will be used by dad for work and ferrying clients
The BMW will be used by mum for the school run
The XF will be used occasionally by the boss' wife or for dad when the Toyota is ferrying clients
The RR will be to show that the company is reliable and well-off, because it's been newly set-up
Currently learning to drive and don't own my own car. I hope to get a VW Golf MK 1 when I've passed my test. Learning in a Mazda 323F like this, minus the light pods on the front:
It actually holds the road really well, it's quite suprising.
In a month or so I'll be learning to drive in one of these, or driving it properly if I've passed my test:
Yeh, my dad is insane.
No your dad's the greatest dad in the world if he does get you that Alfa
It wont be mine. I'll just be driving it now and again.
He plans to sell his Golf GTI 16v to my sister (R.I.P. Golf when the time comes) and sell his Fabia VRS to me when I can afford to pay for it and run it. Then he'll keep the Alfa as his own car.
The Skoda is playing up at the moment though. Still managed to beat a Seat Leon FR TDI 150 in a drag race yesterday with the engine warning light on and four people in the car vs. their fully functioning Seat with 2 people.
Woah, lovely ride.
Tell him to get you the GTA version.
I wish I could have this but the insurance is like 3 grand . But they're so smart and comfortable. I sat in one at Renault World Series.
Renault Twingo Sport
This is more likely!!
This is probably what I would get:
Toyota Yaris (old one.)
And what happend to that Smart you wanted? And a Fiat 500?
GTA What Skoda Do U have?
Skoda Fabia VRS remapped to 175BHP-ish.
I kid you not, it fixes itself.
My preferred mode of transport most of the time, rather than the car.
Clicky here, big picture.
Much more fun than driving.
1971 Datsun 240z. LS1 engine.
LS1 as in the V8 out of a Vette?
Pics or it didn't happen!
Pics of the engine bay I mean, obviously.
Skoda's are invincible, had 4 Octavias VRS's and has never broken.
Ours has numerous times. But every time it's fixed itself.
A year or two ago the Air Con/Climate Control kept playing up. It would work as normal for a while but then it would start to blow boiling hot air into the car regardless of what temperature the heater was set to. Turn the car off and on again, fixed. Hasnt done it since.
Clutch used to slip around the same time. Didn't like being booted from 2000RPM. My dad just drove it carefully for a few hundred miles, hasn't slipped since.
Now we've got this new problem with loss of power after about 30 miles. All you do is turn the car off and on again and you've got all the power back. Sometimes the engine warning light comes on and you turn the car off and on and it stays on but the power is back so we ignore it.
The only thing that hasn't fixed itself is some strange knocking noise from the front left suspension that you get sometimes when you go over a bump. Hasn't changed the handling of the car so we ignore that as well, lol.
It's due a service next month so my dad is holding out for that I think. 60,000 miles and still drives like it did the moment it left the Skoda dealer. Shame it was my uncles car first and as soon as he got in it at the dealer he raced off up the road in it and all the way back home, I know because I was in the car.
a volvo. enough said?
didn't you ever sell it?
thats been put on pause for a little while Reason is in my thread.
