I am a total completionist and I enjoy heavily participating in things like this fourm. So is there a point where I wont be a Skidmark?

That's not your reputation. It's your user title which can be changed here.

not to dig this old rag of a thread up but how can I increase my rep? is this from the good of the people here or can it be related to post views/ numbers?

If you post something awesome other members will add to your rep. We don't give it that much importance so don't worry about it too much. Those who post epic photos and released TDU1 mods would typically have the most rep (besides staff).

I have quite a bit of rep, my posts are no more relevant or helpful than they were before. It makes little difference and I certainly don't judge people on here by rep.

Yeah, what everybody else said about getting rep was true.

Getting rep is like doing things that everyone here likes or enjoys. For instance, I got some of my rep for making signatures and avatars for TDU2. That got me a bit. Other people like Alex (Penfold) and Tom take epic pictures of cars. They get lots of good rep. Also Tool831 got lots of rep from his high quality mods.

Basically, just do anything positive and you'll earn some rep. Rep isn't much though, neither is post count. It's just a number. ;)

The only time rep should be taken seriously is red, because it means they've annoyed a fair few people.
