Oddly I only have 1 post in this thread...
Here's a few that spring to mind.

    Any Jaguar convertible.
    From the XK120, E-Type, XJ-S, Old & new XK/R and current F-Type.
    Likewise, any Aston convertible.

The new Abarth 124 as well.
But Same with the MX5 & Fiat 124.

Rolls Royce of any sort, just as long as you don;t have the roof down in a city otherwise you look a bit of a pillock.
But the current Phantom DHC or Dawn...would love to have a nice cruse up in the country roads on on fine day with the roof down in one of them!

Once you experience no roof, it's really something and add's 20% to the experience I find! I'd take the roof off the Cappuccino whenever the sun was out, be it a drive up the mountains or going to work. Personally, I'd prefer a drop for most, if not all supercars If i had the money.

Any convertible is manly, it's just how you interpret it. :)

Other than the Bini, DS3 or Fiat/Abarth 500...

As much as I agree, and I absolutely love the Spyder, alot people would say it's not a manly convertible...

    Because it's a Boxster.

True, there is a certain stigma in the UK, perhaps just the UK perhaps internationally, attached to men who drive Porsches, often in reference to the (lack of) size of their lololol, not their wallet :p Driving a convertible Porsche exacerbates this stigma slightly more over here haha.

That's one of the reasons I love the Targa, it's a good compromise :nods:

Only saw 300SL's twice in my life, both times in museums. It's truly special.

That 4C Spider is . I think the new class of Mercs have went more gentle than the more aggressive nature of the previous.

You've a point, just had a look threa the thread and no mention of any!

MG T series, MGA, B and Midget. And of course the F/TF.

The king of cool himself, Steve McQueen, even had a few. A TC & a Midget to name the ones I could remember.
The likes of the B was the default drop top for years, both sides of the pond.

I've decided I have no point and I want to retract my previous comments.
