60GB PS3 to be discontinued in UK when stocks sell out

    Sony mess up yet again but they are rumoured to be replacing the 60gb with an 80gb machine that is backward compatible in Spring next year.

    I think this is to make people rush out and buy the PS3 and then say "oh no demard is so high we'll carry on".

    We haven't had any 60gb PS3's in for nearly 2 months now !

    Apparently PC World have bought loads of these so have loads in stock and are selling them now if you really want a 60GB one. I take it that means Currys and dixons aswell, dunno
