    Hi

why do you have to cut sizes ? Do you mean sound duration (seconds) or file size (in bytes) ?

With latest tools + magic map, there's no more restriction on file sizes.

    What limits ?
    BNK file size ?

In fact you can't add more wav files to the BNK. However you can do almost everything with the existing ones; including putting larger wavs than the originals.

im using the bnk from the saturn sky with a bov mod as it gives a more smooth transition through the rev range but every time i add the wav files to it i get the file will be truncated to fit message

Yes but the Game will still play the original's Loop lenght (>> Xml file )

    Anyway
file will be truncated to fit message
Quit the old bnk editor , use Djey's amazing " Modding Tools ", it has the "Change size " Functionality so it wont "truncate" your sample and so on , **** it up

With the Bnk map file you now will only get :

Loop Lenght problem & Rpm Synchro problems , but that's just the easy parts

    Good luck !

Oh and i forgot to mention , with the bnk map file from Djey , no more need to use the Saturn original sound , just take any car sound ( but traffic ) , as long as you name it as the original Saturn_Sky_Audio.bnk (exemple) it will work !

It sounds cool, but I'll use it for the EVO X. If someone can do a sound for the EVO X if it's different, then that will be nice.

the download link is at the bottom of the first post, or the bottom of the 7th post too actually, plus Nitro isn't really around anymore
