Exclamation 2 Genuine copies - Can we play LAN only, Can't see each other online either

I have 2 new copies of TDU for PC and want to be able to drive against my friend preferably just across a LAN and not even online. Is this possible, can someone tell me how please.

Oh... Also is there a way we can both use the mysticusa save game if we are just playing each other across LAN?

Also we are both online with our accounts set up etc but one of the computers says that servers are unavailable. When I disconnected the firewall it worked but the other computer dropped out.

im pretty sure you cant play through just lan you either play online or offline. i think thats the way it works. also, with the mystic usa savegame, you cannot play online with it.
