    If you're a youngster then sure that shootout looks the dogs, but imo and a lot of others HEAT's bank job shootout is the ultimate movie shootout.

    Well the one in Heat was planned by some bloke who used to be in the SAS and then wrote a few books

    And if you've played it was copied to some extent in GTA IV for one of the missions

    As to best shoot-out ever

    The one in 'True Romance' is quite good
    I'd rather be topless !

    Yeah also they were going to redub the gun fire and put music over it but instead Mann decided to just leave the raw sound of the blanks and no music at all because of the effects of everything else around like bullets, glass and metal ricochets. Nobody does it better than Michael Mann in this respect.
    I'm a bit mental.
