    Default PC Help?

    Hey

So i'm looking around for a new PC, and I found this:

    http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.901-2519.aspx

Yes I know its at Tesco

Does Cache matter when you're playing games? (It has 1.5MB L2 Cache)

I want to be able to play San Andreas on it smoothly, and run internet and MSN together smoothly.

Is that possible on that PC?

You can run San Andreas on that. If you want to check if you can run games go to: www.canyourunit.com

What about the cache? I thought most PCs came with like 4 mb? And what does L2 mean?

And btw why do you want a quad quore if you want to play games like San Andreas and do stuff like: msn, inthernet.

You can buy a cheaper system with a better videocard if you want to do stuff like that (i think the integrated videocard is good enough for San Andreas)

That's right! You should definetely get a Graphics card from either ATI og nVidia if you intend to play on your PC. Integrated ones are not suitable for gaming, (depends on what games we are talking about though , lol cuz of course you can still play PinBall and Chess and stuff like that with onboard graphics )

if it's just GTA SA you'll be playing, a PC with a 8400GS GPU will be plenty enough for it.

We've had 4 Dells and no problems. Only when it comes to upgrading things apart from RAM and Graphics. As they put big oxes round things and or trap cables in so they only thing you can do is cut them out, when that renders the cable useless.

I had a HP but that thing had a lot of reclame in it. And the support from dell is just great.
