Default Dodge Viper ACR hits 7:22 on the 'Ring!

If the video above doesn't show

    New record!
Look at the gearstick how it moves when it hits the rev limiter.

7:22 is definately a fast time! Other times that are set lately:

I just know Balto is getting here to over excited

Thats impressive. But some parts on the ACR are not even street legal in the US. The front splitter for example. Its not a true lap if not at street trim.

Seen this this morning and it's one hell of an achievement by Dodge, it is essentially a racecar so a fast time isn't exactly surprising, though I am personally waiting for the Ultima GTR to blitz everything with a sub 7min. It was meant to do a run in July but rain stopped it and it did a few practice runs <7mins.
    I'm a bit mental.

impressive. it could've gone a few seconds faster if they got a better driver, but this guy wasn't bad.

now nissan has to release a GTR V-SPEC II NuR to beat it.

He may know the track, yet he mis-shifts from 2nd to 5th twice in one lap? That's pretty bad for a supposed 'good driver'.

I would take a Fiesta over this.

Are you sure it didn't cut the track? And I bet a Caparo T1 could thrash all of them without trying.

Not without catching on fire/gas getting stuck/all the other problems Fifth Gear/Top Gear mentioned about it

Think a Caparo could even complete a lap? Even if it didn't burn itself up in the 4th turn.

Too low to the ground Even that Viper bottomed out countless times (unless I am mistaking that noise for something else, in which case my bad.)

The car I posted in the "What you've Seen Recently" (or something along those lines) thread, The Ferrari 288 GTO Evo, was loaned by its japanese owner to a Ferrari test driver at the ring a couple of months ago, and managed to turn a 6:35.78 lap-time.
This is my signature until I can think of something better.
