Default Do You Like The Smell of Petrol?

Since this is a car themed website, why not ask it

Personally I hate it, can't stand going to petrol stations, the smell gives me a headake instantly!

Same goes for Diesel to be honest.

I like the smell of paraffin and freshly cut grass though

I love it, one of the best times of the week is going for fuel.

Haha. I voted Yes as I really do like it. I guess i'm used to it as when I was down in Surrey meeting a friend I got a whiff of it all the time.

This was due to his car being a Ford Racing Puma which gurgles out un-burnt petrol through the exhaust and out into the atmosphere all the time and I usually had the window open so could smell it all the time I was in the car

It depends wher it is. When i'm in the back of my friends 106 its just very diconcerting as I kept on thinking the thing is going to blow up, but when at banger car racing then its brilliant, add's to atmosphere.

Yes, I do like the smell of petrol, but only in small amounts. Too much gives me a headache...
Diesel fumes I hate a lot... I've noticed that of late I've been holding my breath whenever a big lorry or bus drives by...

Other than that, I actually like the smell of basement carparks... Don't ask why though...
