    Default Been christened?

Another random topic. Yeah I know... But I wanted to find out how many people have been christened on the forum. Came about as Sensei told me he was going to one today so I thought well why not make a topic about it?
I haven't been but I was just wondering about it. No offense intended

So vote in the poll that will be put up and let the voting begin!

Yes, and here in denmark, we do a so-called "confirmation" of christianity, which basically means you get loads of money and have a party

Yes, I have been Christened. But I'm still an out-right atheist and nothing will change it. I'm not going to say any more otherwise the excessively trigger-happy mods on this forum will probably ban me~ <3

I was as a child, and have told my parent's how disgusted i am at them for christening me.

I believe that everyone has a right to follow religion but should never be forced to, therefore christening me has put me in a religion, which i do not wish to follow. I don't follow any religion mainly because i don't believe it, that's my choice, others choose differently.

    So why christen children?
Surely when they are old enough to decide for themselves, it could be done then with there consent but being done as a baby is completely wrong.
When i have children, none of them will be christened unless they wish to be, at which stage i will support them fully.

Edit: Nice to see you back Sensei

I think I was actually, don't really care about, think I was a baby anyway

We have those too, which people do when they're about 15. I won't do it, never been and never will be interested in it. Almost all the people in school are going to do it just because of the money though (How surprising) Mom would never talk to me again if I did that.
