    Yep the SSC did it, 257mph and 254mph runs to give a 255mph top speed thus a new record. Typical US design though, no originality and take from everyone else though massive kudos on the speed. Makes me wonder if Bugatti will let the Veyron run to 257 which it has been said to be able to do but limited to 253mph due to the tyres.
    I'm a bit mental.

    It topped out at 311km/h (Veyron does 407km/h for the people who work with Miles)
    SSC want to reach a topspeed of 427km/h now

    It doesn't matter how much horsepower your car has, it's about the smile on your face when you drive it.

    I think they upload a new 10 min video everyday to youtube as far as I could gather.

    i knew about this car but i didnt think it was that fast, the thing is that i bet the interior design e.t.c isnt as good a quality as the veyron
