    Default TDU Disc problem?

For some reason lately, I've loaded TDU and when you press Continue game, it loads. As the house comes up, it freezes and says 'Disc Error', I've checked my disc and it has a few scratches but I've noticed like a scratch blob on the disc, should I use the toothpaste method on this or should I chuck it away and buy a new TDU?

I've been using the toothpaste, did it once, worked for about a month and have just done it again but kept in for about an hour.

What I done was put a dollop of toothpaste on each scratch then rubbed it in a circular motion to spread it, then leave it to dry (becomes hard). Once it has dried, wash it off with cold water under a slow running tap. Then once it has dried buff it to a shine with the cloth you get with the PSP (Or a cloth for cleaning glasses will do).

    It should then work.
